The collection consists of papers of Albert Henry Newman from ca. 1927-1933. The papers contain Newman's manuscript lecture notes (Part II and III) on Baptist church history; a ca. 1880 copy of T.J. Morgan's A MANUAL OF CHURCH HISTORY; and personal correspondence with Presidents Rufus W. Weaver and Spright Dowell regarding college matters, as well as with John G. Harrison regarding the sale of Newman's library.
